ORganization HISTORY
While the First Nations Foundation was Incorporated in February 2020, its spirit has been building in the community over the past six years. The founding members began this journey by the creation of the Denver American Indian Festival in 2014. This successful yearly nonprofit cultural event demonstrated to its founders that community was ready to support larger scale initiatives that move beyond the festival itself.
